The PIM calendar¶
The PIM calendar (menu: Prices & Products → Calendar) is a calendar of
product and price changes, plotting how many products changed on each day
and by which supplier. It is a member-only (buying-group) view for keeping
track of catalogue activity — not a promotions or deadlines calendar.
What it plots¶
A Track selector chooses which date drives the calendar:
- Product Changes — when the product record was last modified.
- Price Changes — when a price entry was modified.
- Price Effective — when a price becomes effective.
Two toggles refine it: Only show updates with price changes, and Only show updates in my categories (limits to the categories/teams you follow as interest areas).
Reading and using it¶
Each day shows a badge per supplier — "N products with changes" — that links through to the catalogue filtered to those products. Each supplier badge also has an export control that runs an export template for that supplier and date, so you can pull a spreadsheet of exactly what changed.
Why a day looks empty or wrong¶
- Track selection. Switching between Product Changes, Price Changes, and Price Effective plots entirely different dates — a day with no product edits can still have price-effective events, and vice versa.
- "My categories" filter. With it on, only changes in categories/teams you follow appear; broaden your interest areas to see more.
- Price-changes-only filter. This hides updates that carry no price change.
What it is not¶
- Not the events calendar used for meetings and deadlines — this calendar only plots product/price activity.
- Not the Updates feed of import runs — the calendar counts per-product changes by day, whereas Updates lists whole import jobs.
