Your account settings

Each user manages their own password, email/digest preferences, and two-factor authentication from their account settings.

Changing your password

On the password screen, enter your current password and your new password twice, then save. If you've forgotten it, use the reset link emailed from the login page (or ask an administrator to send one) — the link lets you set a new password without the current one, and expires after a limited window.

Email and digest preferences

The settings dialog controls what mail you receive:

  • Send digest — receive the daily news digest.
  • Tailored digest — limit the digest to your interest-area categories.
  • Send immediate — receive instant deal emails, and choose which importance levels trigger them.
  • Notification email and turnover emails — figures reminders and turnover-related mail (by frequency).
  • PIM digest — product-data digest.
  • Interest areas — the deal categories that tailor the above.

Saving updates your preferences and the category interest lists that drive automated emails.

Two-factor authentication

Enabling 2FA generates a QR code to add the account to an authenticator app; the app then produces the login codes.

If it fails

  • "Existing password incorrect" — the current password didn't match; use the emailed reset link instead.
  • A reset link says expired — request a fresh one; links are time-limited.
